Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) launched the city car Honda Brio back in the year 2011. The Brio with its launch marked the beginning of Honda’s small car line-up for India and its tensile platform was utilized to build a series of other Honda cars. These cars included Honda Amaze, Honda Mobilio etc. This compact little car gained the popularity in the hatchback segment for its peppy engine and fantastic driving dynamics alongside out of the box design. Soon when Honda started focusing on the new cars like Honda City and Honda Amaze, Brio was put on the back-burner. The cute and cheerful hatch has not seen much of the updates in the last five years since its launch. But at last, Honda concentrated on the small cars again and finally after the long wait, Brio received its facelift in the year 2016. The exteriors, as well as interiors, were refreshed, although the under hood mechanicals remained untouched.
Honda Brio Tyres
Honda Brio is an excellent city car and a fun to drive vehicle. The hatchback at present is available in four different trims they are E, S, VX and VX AT. Honda Brio tyre size of all the variants are radial tubeless tyres and measure 175/65 R 14. Its base E model gets steel wheels with centre hubcaps, and the S trim feature full rim wheels. Honda Brio car tyres of the top-end SX and SX AT variants come equipped with alloy wheels.

With the launch, Honda Brio along with its sibling Amaze has turned around the fortunes for Honda. Honda Brio invaded the sales of small car leaders like Hyundai Motors and Maruti Suzuki. Brio is a car that appeals to the buyers in more than one way. Its price, value, space and comfort, all helped it grow in its segment. Honda Brio in its category competes against the likes of Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Tiago and Ford Figo.
As is very evident, the basic shape of the Brio remains the same but plenty is done to enhance the outer looks of the car. Changes include new radiator grille with a glossy black band, redesigned front bumper and faux air intakes that houses the fog lamps. At the rear, the bumper has received a decent nip and a tuck for fresher looks.
The area that seems to get much attention is the cabin. The original Brio’s plain dash is replaced by an all-black dashboard with rectangular air-vents and glazed highlights which looks rich. Other features included in the face-lift model are dual airbags, automatic climate control, ABS with EBD and height adjustable driver’s seat. The infotainment system still misses out the touch-screen option while the boot space is also tight as compared to its competitors.
Honda hasn’t revised the Brio’s mechanicals. It continues to be powered by the 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine that generates a power output of 88 bhp at 6000 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. The motor comes mated to a five-speed manual and an optional five-speed torque converter automatic.
Honda Brio Price
Honda has played safe with the pricing of Brio till date. The price of this small city starts from Rs. 4.66 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 6.75 Lakh. Honda Brio base trim E is priced at Rs. 4.66 Lakh while the top-selling model S is tagged at Rs. 5.16 Lakh. The top end variant VX gets the price tag of Rs. 5.9 Lakh while the automatic variant SX AT is available at Rs. 6.75 Lakh. All the prices mentioned are of ex-showroom, New Delhi.

Hello i need to fix in new tyres for my car honda brio
Hi,
Kindly confirm your current tyre size.
Thanks
Will it suit only for honda brio? Can i have it for hyundai eon?
I am in Yelahanka New Town, Purva Venazia.
Do you have workshop nearby?
Require tyre for Honda Brio VX (tubeless): 4 nos. Confused between Bridgestone and Yokohama.
Is Bridgestone sturdo better than B290.
Can I use Yokohama 185/65/R 14
Hi,
we would recommend going for CEAT Fuelsmarrt or Continental UltraContact UC6. The Yokohama 185/65 R14 you mentioned is a slightly aggressive upsize so it might not be the best decision to use that.
Thanks
